Our dentists, Dr. Larry Podolsky and Dr. Howard Rosen offer their patients a wide range of dental services, including preventive hygiene and oral cancer screenings, digital impressions and Invisalign. We also offer cosmetic services such as teeth whitening and CEREC same-day restorations. CEREC technology allows us to place dental crowns, bridges, and veeners in just one appointment.

Dr. Howard Rosen

General Dentist

Dr. Howard Rosen has been practicing dentistry for over 40 years now.

He received his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto.

Howard is a lifelong learner. He has an interest in cosmetic dental services and loves to see the great smile on his patients.

In his spare time, Howard loves to ski and cycle and is involved in fundraising for several organizations.
Dr. Jacklyn Altman

Periodontist

Dr. Jacklyn Altman received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Toronto and her Masters of Science in Periodontology from Columbia University in New York, where she received the Melvin Morris Award of Excellence. She is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Altman is a Clinical Instructor at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. She is a member of The Ontario Dental Association, Ontario Society of Periodontists, American Academy of Periodontology, North York Centre Dental Study Club and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Jonathan Rosen

General Dentist

Dr. Rosen graduated from dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2011. He completed a general practice residency at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York in 2012.

His residency focused on emergency hospital dentistry, on-call training and comprehensive dentistry focused on all age groups.

Jonathan is also an active member of the Alpha Omega Fraternity. He sat as the academic chair in 2010 and 2011. He enjoys playing golf and skiing in his spare time and is an avid sports fan.

Dr. Rosen volunteers in the "give kids a smile program" a program that reaches out to children of low-income families and provides dental care.

Dr. Larry Podolsky

General Dentist

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Dr. Larry Podolsky attended Witwatersand University in Johannesburg, where he graduated from Dental School in 1981.

He practiced dentistry in Johannesburg until emigrating to Canada in 1988. After associating in Scarborough, Dr. Podolsky opened his own dental office in Thornhill in 1991.

Larry is married to his wife Lorraine for 28 years and has 3 children; Dean, Gina and Chad. He is a golf fanatic and loves to travel. He loves his work and the relationships he has with each and every patient.
Dr. Phil Anderson

General Dentist

Dr. Phil believes in keeping things simple and being clear. A huge proponent of education and communication – he takes the time to explain treatment plans in a way that patients can understand, so that you feel comfortable and informed about next steps. All of which puts patients at ease. It works.

When Dr. Phil isn’t making healthy smiles, he’s out bodybuilding, weight-lifting, playing volleyball or running. He also manages to work out his ‘right brain’ by dabbling in painting and drawing.

Dr. Anderson graduated from the Schulich school of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. And while he won’t admit it, he was the top student in his class all 4 years. He is passionate about reconstructive and cosmetic dental work.
Dr. Vlad Gaydukov

General Dentist

Dr. Vlad Gaydukov graduated in 1994, obtaining his DDS degree from the faculty of dentistry at the State Medical Academy in Stavropol, Russia. After working for some time in the Krasnodar region; he completed a program at the Moscow University. This program provided him with advanced training in the specialty of dentistry including oral surgery. After more than 1 decade of working in Russia, Dr. Gaydukov moved to Canada, working first to obtain his certificate of general dentistry. Dr. Gaydukov loves sport . He and his wife are raising their two boys. They all enjoy travelling, hiking, small scale farming, and numerous other outdoor activities.
